About
Pico

The
roots of Pico Corporation extend back to the 1950's when under
the name of Harrison & Sharp several contact-wire terminating
devices were developed for the connector industry. The present
day corporation was formed in 1964 and has been providing
products to the connector industry for three decades. Over
these intervening years
Pico
has earned an enviable reputation for providing high quality
products and service. Crimping tools developed by Pico include
single indent, double indent, three indent, four indent, eight
indent as well as hex dies for RF connectors and form dies
for insulated and uninsulated terminals. Variations of the
four/eight indent are the industry standards of today.
-
In 1987, to further serve our customer base, an installing
and removal tool line was introduced. These products have
been expanded and this line is now one of the broadest in
the industry.
- In
1989, responding to industry request, Pico developed a series
of automatic feed crimping machines. This series accommodates
contacts having a wide variety of design configurations
in sizes from #22 to #12.
