MODEL 310

Tool in development.

The 310 tool is designed to accommodate a wide range of open and closed barrel terminals.
The tool has a two stage action. The initial pull on the trigger will close the jaws with 5 lbs pressure, holding the terminal in place to enable easy insertion of the wire.

Further pressure on the trigger causes the tool to
complete the crimp. There are interchangeable jaws to adapt the tool to various open barrel as well as standard closed barrel insulated and UN-insulated terminals with a
range from #26 to #10 gage wire.

MODEL 550

The 550 series crimping machine is designed and constructed to crimp contacts and cables ranging in size from #12 thru 350 MCM.

Interchangeable indentor sets are available to adapt the machine to provide multiple ranges in crimp depths.
The crimp profile is unique and is a significant advance in the state of the art of crimping. The crimp produced is a six sided crimp with two indentations at each of the six positions which are equidistant around the circumference of the contact. This configuration provides a uniform reduction of the contact barrel. The resulting compaction of the wire strands is such that it is virtually void free. The tensile strength and electrical characteristics which this crimp provides are superior to any other crimping systems now available.

The machine is equipped with a cycle control system which insures that each crimp is precisely controlled from cycle to cycle.

The machine is equipped with a crimp depth adjusting mechanism which enables presetting eight different crimp depths into the machine. A specific depth can then be selected by rotating a selector knob to one of the eight positions.
